Accessibility statement

Everybody deserves a good deal. DealCheats is built so you can use it with a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or voice control.

Effective October 7, 2026

DealCheats aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most often used to measure website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've built in

  • Clear heading structure and page landmarks, plus a "Skip to content" link, so screen readers and keyboards can jump around quickly.
  • Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
  • Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color contrast, and text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Photos and product images have descriptive alt text. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.
  • Links that open a new tab say so to screen reader users.
  • Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion. Nothing autoplays sound or video, and nothing on the site has a time limit.

How we check

Pages are tested with automated accessibility checks (axe-core) and with keyboard-only navigation before changes go live.

Known limitations

Some links lead to sites we don't control, like Amazon, the Joylink deal catalog and social apps. Their accessibility is up to those companies. Product photos come from Amazon, so we describe each one by the product's name.
